The Remote Play app allows users to cast their PS4 to another device. The PS4 Remote Play application allows for you to play your favorite PlayStation 4 games and applications on your Android device. The application works with smartphones, tablets, televisions, and other types of devices that are Wi-Fi compatible.

To use the app, you will need a mobile device that has Android version 5.0 or higher installed. Your PlayStation 4 will need to have the most up to date software version installed. An account on Sony’s PlayStation Network is also required. A DUALSHOCK 4 controller is necessary to play games.

The application is not compatible with all PlayStation 4 video games. The application can also not be used using a mobile network; Wi-Fi is required. Unverified devices also may run into issues with being compatible.
