GOM Player allows Android users to interact with video files. It supports files pulled from Android, Dropbox, an FTP server, GoogleDrive, OneDrive and WebDAV storage. It also plays 360-degree and non-encoded videos.
This app has an easy-to-use intuitive interface that supports finger gestures. It features touch and sliding menus and tools for accessing settings and playing and managing video content. It provides a user with total control of video lighting, speed and volume. They can search for a particular scene at the touch of a button. They can also set a sleep timer and create a playlist of their favorite videos. In 360-degree videos, they can manipulate direction and use a gyro sensor. Users who own virtual reality gear can also turn on a VR Theater Mode for a truly immersive viewing experience.
GOM Player does more than provide a player for viewing videos on an Android device. Users can add, format and manage video subtitles, including configure a permanent subtitle sync setting. They can create a screenshot of a video while it plays onscreen as well.
Users can connect with the internet via cellular data or Wi-Fi services. Within the app, they can disable cellular data access to reduce data usage through their service provider.
